Windows Central Question

If my original charger is 5V-1A, can I use 5V-2.1A charger to speed up my charging speed? Will it blow up my phone battery?

A higher amperage charger will NOT cause damage.

The phone pulls what power it can, the charger does not "push" power, meaning nothing is going to go "boom."

You're simply allowing the phone to charge more quickly by using a charger that is less of a power bottleneck. I've used .5A chargers, 2.1 A chargers with my 920 with no issues. If there was a 9000A charger I would have no issue with using it, (assuming its in good working order) although its not going to be much faster probably.

Now if the voltage is different, that's something else.
