    If you are using windows 10 technical preview can you still get the free upgrade offer like the people who have not testing the technical preview?

    Yes, but only if you upgraded from a legitimate copy of 7 or 8 I believe. (I'd wait for others to confirm to be sure.)

    Although, I'm confused how this will work. Considering that lots of people will do a format and install W10 from the ISO files; how can it be tracked that they were running a legit copy of 7 or 8? Or will W10 accept the same license key as the older versions? Microsoft really does need to clarify this...
