Windows Central Question

I just got my Stream 7 "going" but when I try to use the browser, there is no "keyboard" to type an address into the address bar with.

Am I missing something here? I tap everywhere, but no keyboard "comes up"..

I am sure it is because I am such a total newb with Win 8.1 tablets..

Any help would be very welcomed.

Thank you!

On this tablet, with 8.1, that's a little of a pain in the ****. Everytime you are on the browser and want to type, you have to swipe from the right, tap settings, and on the right lower corner you will see keyboard, tap on it and the keyboard will appear. This is better with windows 10 on this tablet.

What browser are you using? The desktop or the Metro version of IE/Chrome?

The Metro one -should- just pop up when you go to a text box. For desktop browsers, there should be a Keyboard button, usually on the lower right, on the task bar. If it's not there, try click-and-holding (or right clicking) the task bar and make sure the keyboard button is enabled.
