What happens if I am not satisfied with Windows 10, can I go back to Windows 8.1?

Windows Central Question

As of now I am unsure as to whether I desire to switch to the new product. I understand that this is a definite change but if I am not satisfied with it I am worried that I may not be able to return to the previous operating system, Windows 8.1. I am mostly wondering if there is a no-strings attached trial before committing fully to the new product and paying the required prize for it.

Yes you can, nothing will prevent you from going back to 8.1 Now of course this is a tricky question but is it a notebook that's going to Windows 10 or a Desktop computer?

If it's a notebook then you'll just need to load the recovery partition and it'll install 8.1 instead. If it's a Desktop... well hopefully you kept your Windows 8.1 DVD/ISO file.
