    When people dial my number, instead of hearing a phone ringing, they are subjected to some sort of muzak. Is there a way to change this setting?

    That is called ringback tones. Check with your carrier. I believe you need to contact them on their website to change your ringback tone.

    Also check on your bill. Some carriers charge a monthly fee for that "service."

    I used to have music playing as my voicemail. Ha ha Paul van Dyk' Another Way never sounded so crackly lol.
