I have an application in store which allows to write an vCard to an NFC tag. This app was developed for WP8(.1) and worked well.

Last week I've got WP10 (10149) installed and I tested my apps I have in the store. Unfortunately the NFC app doesn't work anymore. When I try to write the vCard to a tag I alltready wrote with the previos OS, I get the message, "the data type is not recognized".

The same message I get, when I near my device to a tag I wrote earlier. This tag formerly opened a dialog to add the vCard to the contacts list. Since tapping the device to the NFC tag and launching the contact task has nothing to do with my app, I assume some other problems. NFC interactor can read the tag, but contact launcher is not invoked.

    Are there any known issues/changes?

You mean between WP8.1 and W10 technical preview. I bet there are. So I would suggest to use the feedback app to inform MS about this issue.
And please also contact the developer of this app about your findings.
