Windows Central Question

Windows 10 infinite boot loop after failing to upgrade from 7.
Failed at around 30% and is trying to revert OS.
It's been infinite rebooting for around an hour now.

Going through the same screens:
- Boot screen
- (Flickers through 2 different screens really fast, one is the the F8 screen)
- Windows is loading files...
- (spinny ball)
- (flashes what looks to be a cmd window)
- Attempting to recover installation...
- Restoring your previous version of Windows...
-> (Loops)

RIP laptop.

I followed the instruction as mentioned earlier in this post to problogbooster.

I hit shift and F8 on startup like a madman to get me to the options screen. Selected safe mode with networking. Then once windows 7 had loaded I right clicked my computer and went to properties - device manager and deleted all display adapters and network adapters.

I didn't think it would work as I had tried loads of suggestions - it did. I am now back into Windows 7 after 2 days of feckin' around with this. Windows 10 can kiss my hairy one until they get all the driver issues sorted.

Microsoft is about as helpful as a rock to a drowning person.

Hope this helps at least one person
