Why is text so hard to read since installing Windows 10?

Since installing Windows 10 last night, the icons on my desktop are fuzzy and the text is almost impossible to read. The same problem exists when when I open Chrome and when I open Outlook mail. I have a Dell monitor and eMachine desktop computer. I have put all settings on the monitor and on Windows 10 back to default.

You probably need updated graphics card drivers.
