Looks like 16GB is the minimum free Hard Disk space for 32-bit (20GB for 64-bit) systems - so this might be your only hindrance.
Clean install is not necessary.
There are bugs as reported in these forums, but they are not universal, i.e. some users may experience a certain bug while others won't - but in general the bugs aren't that serious (at least based on the fact that it has been reported that there are 60+ million Windows 10 devices now and we're not getting as much reports in the web).
I'm using Windows 10 in my
only laptop, and my laptop is three years old (still decent with 2.4 GHz intel i5 quad core, 8GB RAM,1TB HDD and NVidia graphics card). So, yes, I'd say it can be used in one's "daily driver".
