calling with lumia 730 results in passiveness of background controls

Calling with this phone results in sudden locking which worsen call controlling options like even I can't end the current call,etc.However on using earphones it works perfectly n smooth.if dis strange behaviour is corrigible,pls offer me remedy. Thanks in advance.
