I am starting to have some discomfort in my arm through mouse movements. Rather than use the mouse at my side as normal where mouse up is pointer up on the screen, or mouse down is pointer down and so on, I would like to trying to use the mouse up against my torso.

However, of course this means my mouse is turned 45 degrees from normal making is quite difficult alter what my brain/eye is expecting.

Everything I searched for make reference to a changing direction for dual monitors.

I realize, I can simply use my mouse on my my lap but I find that less effective for me than over my torso.

Am I tying to invent something not practical or possible?

    Thanks

If you're willing to modify the mouse itself and rotate the laser sensor, then that's a hacky yet effective solution .
