Windows Central Question

We can back up Videos or Documents to onedrive, but what about contacts?
In case my phone is stolen and my contacts are deleted, they will disappear from my account too (because of the synchronization), so i will loose them for ever.Is there a way (programm or anything) to solve this problem?

If you've set a four-digit PIN for your phone, then nothing can be done with your phone when it is stolen and gets locked - your contacts can't be deleted. However, if there's no PIN, then there's a risk - so it's highly recommended to set a four-digit PIN for your windows phone.

There are at least two ways to export your People Contacts to some other file:
1. Through your people.live.com account, click on "Manage" and then choose from the two "export" options there. One of them will generate a .csv file containing all your contacts.

2. If you have Outlook installed in your PC and it is synchronized with your Windows Phone account, then you can simply export the contacts file from there: Click on the People Icon at the lower left, then File > Open & Export > then select the exportation method you want.

You may create a Windows Central account to respond to this thread.
