how do i turn off airplane mode on my desktop

I upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7. after recent updates from Microsoft I can not turn off airplane mode

Have you tried going into Settings >> Network & Internet >>Airplane Mode >> set it to Off?

I've not had this problem until today. Although I can go anywhere on the internet, get my mail, send messages, use TeamViewer, stream Netflix, update and play LOTRO (all with the airplane mode on), I can't use the News app. That's how I discovered that the airplane mode is on, but can't be turned off. So far, it's not a major problem for me - I can always go to news sites to get the news; I don't need the app. But, I suspect I will find other problems, so I'd like to hear a solution from an expert. Any help out there?

Is the on/off toggle for Airplane mode greyed out?
