Just had the latest system update on my 830 now double tap to wake doesn't work, and calling someone is a problem, screen goes blank, so can't stop the call till the other person hangs up. Just when I thought windows phone couldn't get any worse. Will be so pleased when this joke of an operating system is finally dead, not long now!

I had the same blank screen on calls too a couple of days ago. Powering down and restarting the phone fixed it. Note that powering down the device is different to just tapping the power button to turn the screen off.

Soft Reset: hold Volume Down + Power buttons until the phone vibrates and reboots (about 10 seconds).

Soft Reset does not cause data loss, but can alleviate many forms of glitchyness.
