Lumia 928 still says Lumia Denim while running Windows 10?

Is that normal? This is under 'Extras and Info'. I have build 10586.

If you have the old extras+info and not the new Extras and Info that's what it will show. Maybe it needs an update?

Did you happen to do a hard reset after installing build 10586?

Denim is the firmware for the phone hardware. If you have that, you can run Windows 10 any version on a Lumia

also, there's no firmware anyway for now so you're on Denim/Cyan anyway.

Has new firmware even been discussed for W10 Mobile? Is new carrier approved firmware coming? And without it, is this why all the W10 Mobile builds still have issues? Reason I ask is because I never see anyone talk about firmware anymore and in the past we always waited for the big firmware update to go along with big OS updates. Cyan, Denim, etc. Maybe a new firmware update is needed to get all the bugs out of W10?

Whilst this is technically true, when you update the phone to Windows 10 it should display this under Extas & Info. I noticed, however, that doing a hard reset will make the phone display Lumia Denim instead (As pictured) - You can see though, that all of the firmware numbers etc are the same. Interestingly, when you restore from Windows Recovery you get pushed back to Cyan and then get Denim in an OTA update.
