I accidentally deleted some system files and now I can't boot my pc, how can I reset it?

Windows Central Question

I accidentally deleted some system files and now i cant boot my pc

i used ccleaner to clean some file duplicates but then my pc would not open anything. i turned it off and then tried to restart it. The windows logo appeared then it got stuck on a black screen. how can i reset it?

You need the recovery disc that came with your PC - that way you would be able to check your system for corrupt files and the system will attempt to repair itself.

You can also download an ISO of your OS version and burn it onto a disc, but that may not always work. If the first option didn't work, then it would seem that this would be the only way to go, but you most likely would lose all your files.
