Everything was wiped?

Ok so my windows 10 suddenly started updating and it took around an hour to finish,when it finally finished I went into it to realise everything was gone, even the main apps on it like photos etc. You know that thing that comes up when you press the Windows button in the corner that brings up the windows 8 style tiles? Even that's gone. My laptop is absolutely hollow because of the update and everything seems to have been wiped. Please please help me anyone? Thanks
