I lost most of the events on my calendar. Can I get them back? Where did they go?

I have a Nokia phone and use it for multiple events every day. It was working fine until I looked and suddenly most of my events were missing. I tried turning the phone off and on, same result. It saved a few events??

Are the events past or future? It's a known issue that you can't access past events in WP calendar.
