Why do I have 2% packet loss to my router on Windows 10?

Windows Central Question

I built a new PC specifically for Windows 10. However, this PC has 2% packet loss just between the pc and the router over wifi. The former Win 7 PC did not have packet loss, nor does any other device in the room connected to the wifi.

Using the inbuilt wifi card, and using a wifi adapter plugged into the ethernet port, give the same result.

I take you meant that you plugged in a WiFi adapter plugged into a USB port?

Or do you mean a Wifi Bridge?

Please join and confirm the following in this thread:
1) What are you using to test packet loss?
2) Have you tried using the same adapters as your W7 PC or you were using the built-on WiFi/Ethernet?
3) Have you tried a Ethernet connection directly to the router via cable?
