Can't hear text message alert sounds at all

Have checked the notifications to setup sound alerts for my text messages, but I receive txts but still with no alerts.

Have checked the notifications to setup sound alerts for my text messages, but I receive txts but still with no alerts.

First time you must select a sound instead of "default", then in notification center uncheck "Keep Private in Lock Screen"
