Battery is draining even while charging, I've tried to do a soft reset but nothing works. What could it be?

Battery is draining even while charging I've tried to soft reset but nothing work.

The battery shows that is supposed to be charging but the battery is still draining.

Reboot your phone. And make sure you use the supplied charger and cable.

additionally, how long have you had your phone? Are you actively using the phone while charging?
Which model is it?
