Windows phone 10 MS Power point issue

I have so many .ppt files. When i try to open these files the MS power point opens and the files is sending microsoft online. How could i stop this?

I don't understand. Is it that the file is opening in your browser instead of the powerpoint app?

Put off your data. Does it still do what it's doing?

Do you have powerpoint app installed?

And does this also affect .pptx files? If it doesn't, try converting the old powerpoint format on PC.

uninstall powerpoint and then install it again
Or check for app updates
