sim and sd card are not responding in my lumia640xl after getting updated today few hours back!!

after taking the update sim card and sd card are not responding in lumia640xl. Opened the sim and sd the reset it and restarted the phone many times but still no response. What can I do now?

Try a hard reset but before backup your settings (Settings -> Info -> Restore) so phone will retry a fresh iupdate install. usually it works
