Why is my computer shutting off in seconds following anniversary update?

Power completely shuts off within a few seconds of turning power switch on. First boot up after installing the anniversary update shut the power off.

can you open the pc in safe mode? Or with internet off? And do you have any peripherals attached like a external hard drive or USB stick? Remove those and try again
