Partial Glance Screen missing on new Lumia 950,

[Windows Central Question]

Phone Lumia 950, bought last week. Worked well, but now this glance screen issue appeared. Running windows 10
Before the text used to move along the whole height of the screen. Now it is static and with the top half of the time text chopped off. It looks like the top third of the screen does not work, but of course it does work when the phone is in use. Is there a software solution to this

have you tried a soft reset? to do that hold volume down+power key until phone reboots.

do tell us your OS build and confirm whether you are an insider or not.
have you dropped your device recently?

Return it for store credit. Buy 640XL for an amazing $69, and use store credit when Surface phone or a flagship is released. 950 series flopped and fraught w problems and now over a year old. Don't invest in that mess. Satya's recent comments reveal an ultimate mobile device is being developed, which is the opposite of 950 and 950XL.
