I have no sound and no screen saving, Please tell me how to fix this problem.

Screen suddenly froze while on face book. Got a Window's alert. Called the number. They took control. Fixed whatever it was that was a problem. Then did a shut down. Was told to wait at least 20 minutes before restarting. Waited 40. Worked fine except there was no sound. Then a little later I noticed no screen saver come up. Just stayed on the same page even after hours of leaving it alone. Please, can these things be returned?

Can you elaborate? Unless you are in a work environment, I have never heard of this.

Hi There! You have just been hit with a ransomware. Never ever call those numbers. Your only solution is a refresh-reset or a clean install. I personally would do the clean install. I have seen your issue twice in my retirement village where I help seniors with their PCs and printers for free. This problem is coming from Facebook
