One Drive syncing issues

Windows Central Question

Hi,
I have windows 10 on my work laptop.
I have added the one drive, moving all my files over which worked great.
I signed up for a 1Tb so loads of storage.

today I have been working and saving work, I can see the files if I logon via a webpage, but they are not visible if I try and access them from file explorer (does not seem very seemless to me).

Have I misunderstood how this should work, or am I going to have to constantly login to the onedrive webpage!
