One drive questions

I am using One drive for photo storage, for my editing program to see the photos they need to be in files.
I have many pictures and they are found by date. I want to take a group say a vacation and put into a file.
This I can't seem to find out how.
 
What I do is go to Onedrive online, select the pictures I want and move them to a new folder, or simply add them to a new album. You need to do that from a "Files" menu not "Photos" on Onedrive. If they are in a folder you can then sync that folder to your PC, so it's always up to date and all new pictures saved to it will automatically be uploaded.

My pictures are in the pictures tab by date. I see and have made albums but when I go to files and make a new file, I'm not sure how to get my group of pictures into that file. On1 doesn't see albums because they are virtual only.
