Garmin fēnix® 5X Navigation

I wanted to know, what if I bought this product from the US but I live in Thailand.
Do I have to modify the navigation or GPS from this smartwatch ?
Is the Map Guidance still working if I came back to Thailand ? or is the map just work only in the place I've bought.

The GPS tracking will work. Check your user guide if you need to download a map or if it can be fed by wifi or mobile network connection.
