Search files by date, instead of name / extension

I know I have a file, but it's not labeled except with the numbers that my phone gave it. Can a search be done on the metadata of a file (just the date) instead of having to know the name or the number of a file, like a .mov file?

if this is on the phone, then perhaps you can sort the files by date added and you might see it near the top

if this is on pc, the same as above plus a few more options to refine the search by date
