Windows Central Question

I am having to reset my laptop to the factory settings and I was wondering if this would delete my pictures and documents in OneDrive. I have about 250 pictures of my kids that are very important to me so I just wanted to be sure. Would appreciate any input. Thanks!

Did you add those files manually to your local onedrive folder?

Everything uploaded to onedrive is backed up in the cloud so removing the onedrive folder from your desktop should not have any effect on the files.

You could disconnect onedrive on your device and you should be good.

Check online if all your files are online onedrive.com

They should not be lost if they were synced to OneDrive successfully. After your reset, just log in to Onedrive and it will sync itself and the data will come straight back.
