People say on different forums that once Windows Mobile was having 17-12% of the market share in India. Even I personally see Windows mobile with 1 out of 10 people here in Bangalore, India.
Now Microsoft did this Tech Summit last week & did demos on iPhones & Androids. So there was no excitement among developers for Windows Mobile platform. Even if you go in market or hunt online, there are no Lumia X50 series, HP X3, Acatel or new great devices which are "easily" available for users.
I don't know, if Microsoft will launch an awesome Mobile in coming months & how they expect developers to suddenly make apps for their platform. & without good local apps how much successful they'll be again on mobile platform; & eventually they'll again abandon / reboot it.
What's your take on the matter? Is Microsoft going in right direction & my fear (as a Windows developer & user) is zilch?
