Windows Central Question

I've currently been experiencing a problem with the Microsoft Edge on my Windows 10 Mobile. It just won't let me type on the address bar. Sometimes I have to tap repeatedly on the address bar for 7 times or more and then it opens up with the keyboard. I can still go to settings (the little 3 dots on bottom-right side of the screen) but I can't go to Tabs, reload the webpage or type on the address bar.

This has been occurring for 2 days. I've tried searching for solutions online but I only found solutions for the PC version of Microsoft Edge, not the mobile one. I've also tried clearing cached data files and browsing history but it only solves the problem for like a minute and then the issue returns again.

Is there anyway to fix this? I use my phone a lot especially for browsing and Microsoft Edge seems to be the only browser that's easy enough for me to use.

Any reply would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
