Grab a copy of Ubuntu Desktop ISO from this page, and then burn it to disc.
    https://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop

Next, boot your computer off the disc and install chntpw. It allows you to reset forgotten admin password.

Hope this works for your case.

If your harddrive is FAT32 (or FAT16), it is easy; delete the "SAM" file. (What I do is rename or move it, rather than delete it.) Boot with a Windows 9.x boot disk. I think it is found in C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG. This usually works, because now you can log in as administrator, without a password.

If your harddrive is NTFS, then you'll need special software. Get a copy of ERD Commander. You'll need another PC to install it on, and then it will allow you to make a CD, which you can boot with on the PC in question, then change the administrator password.

Not sure that you are using a Local account or Microsoft account to login into your Windows 10 PC.

If you are using Microsoft account to login and you forgot your password, so there is way to reset Windows 10 login password. Instead, if you are using a local account to login into your PC then, you need a third party software to remove login password.

Alternatively, If you don’t have any important data in your PC, you should reinstall Windows 10 as well.
