Why is my apps download pending for weeks?

I lost my phone recently so now i'm using my old one which is an acer windows 8.1. my downloads worked properly before but since i started using a micro sd card for memory, my downloads started acting out. it's been pending for weeks even when wifi's okay, tried rebooting and changed date and time and everything else. now i don't know what to do. Can anyone help? i'm desperate.

If you're using the SD card for apps, the card could be the problem. If you have enough space on your phone's internal storage, try moving installed apps to the phone's storage, change the save location for apps to This Device, and retry the downloads. It may be worthwhile to remove the SD card, too.
