How long do I leave my PC plugged in and open at 99% installed? 2 days?

Useing windows 10 update assistant and it has been at 99% installed for 2 days. It says Microsoft can't install important updates on your pc until you install the most current version of windows 10 at the top of the page. To insure things go smoothly, keep your pc plugged in and don't turn your pc off or close it. This has been on the screen for 2 days, how long do I need to wait?

It's hung up. I'd turn it off and restart it, see what happens.
