I'm using Windows 10 on a PC, and have been wanting to move my User files to a different drive, both to free up space on my C drive, and for more safety. I don't much use the "standard" folders (Documents, Music, etc.), but I have a lot of important data on my Desktop, and in my AppData folder, with its several subdirectories.
I see how to move things, from https://www.windowscentral.com/how-move-default-user-folders-new-drive-windows-10 but I have two questions:
1. Is Users\xxx\AppData one of the files I can move?
2. Would moving my Users\xxx\Desktop to a non-SSD drive make any appreciable difference in how things work?
Thanks in advance -
