    What do the ads say? Can you give a screenshot? Try running software such as Malware Bytes to scan your system and remove any malware.

    Suggest running 2 free malware removal programs, one at a time: Malwarebytes and Esetonline scanner. Reboot after running each program. That should do the trick. Also, suggest latest Chrome browser with Adblock Plus installed

    That's correct. But to many users, anything that keeps appearing in a manner similar to a website ad, i.e. a Windows 10 notification message, may also still be called an ad by them. That's why we need more information - i.e. a picture.

    Yes. Good point, Yue. There are lots of fake programs trying to emulate real programs, such as fake uTorrent, fake AdBlock Plus and so on. Get AdBlock Plus from the app store of your browser, from there it is usually trustworthy.
