Windows 10 File Explorer Freezes at 2%

Has anyone come up with a solution to fix Windows 10 File Explorer when it freezes while moving or copying files to another hard drive. I've done the chkdsk, and the scannow, and both found nothing wrong, this is quite annoying, I need to transfer files and this is slowing up the entire operation.

Any (Helpful) advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There's a list of things to try. One or more may fix the problem.

How big is the amount of data you want to transfer between drives? If it's massive, try breaking it down in to smaller chunks and see if File Explorer handles that. Another reason Explorer may hang is if one of the drives is damaged in some way and the data cannot be read.
