I see notifications in Windows Notification center all the time, but when I click the notification it just goes away, rather than loading the message/channel/thread or whatever.

Has anyone here ever been able to actually interact with the notifications?

I contacted discord, they are blaming Microsoft and I find that to be quite annoying because in my mind, they are just not using the available API properly. If I get messenger or mytube notifications, clicking those loads the relevant message/video etc.

I have never had their notifications work properly. Between this issue and an issue I had for years on Mac OSX with their Render Helper hogging all my RAM, they seem to pass the buck often when it comes to issues.

For notifications to work properly on Windows 10, the concerned app should be allowed to run in the background.
