How are you using Haptic Alerts?

I am really loving the haptic alert feature of the Band.

1. One of the things that has prevented me from turning on Quiet hours during a daytime meeting or movie or whatnot when I didn't want to be disturbed is that I would forget to toggle Quiet Hours off again after the meeting. Now I can set a Cortana reminder to coincide with five min before the scheduled meeting ending time (to remind me that it is time to wrap up) and another reminder 10 minutes later to turn off Quiet Hours. That allows me to be phone free during the meeting, but to not forget to turn Quiet Hours off.

2. During loud public events such as public festivals it is often impossible to hear the phone ringing. Haptic alerts solve the "didn't notice you called or texted during the concert" problem.

3. I share an office and now I can turn my phone volume down to 1 or off entirely, but can still get the notice that someone is trying to contact me. Same when working in a coffee shop.

4. I love Cortana reminders because I am rather forgetful, and I was using lots of different ringtones to trigger specific reminders such as "Here in My Car" means they will start towing cars in 10 minutes on the outbound lane of my street. Haptic alerts are far better than ringtones. I am truncating all of my ringtone reminders and turning my alert volume way down because I really don't need them any more.

How it could be improved:
I'd like to see break through rules similar to Quiet Hours for haptic alerts while sleeping, as I need to be on call every night.

There's some odd bug in several Adroid phones I've had where they don't always ring. And, there's been times I've forgotten to take my phone off of silent. Since I carry my phone in a case of my belt - I can't always feel the vibration. But with the Band, I'm still alerted.

I may even set my phone to silent for normal events so as not to bother people around me.

I'm also surprised by how much I like the haptic feedback. It's odd (or maybe not), but I love getting the 'buzz' that I've met my step goal for the day. I definitely enjoy turning my phone to vibrate, leaving it on my desk, and then still getting the discreet notifications for calendar reminders, texts, emails, etc. I am also really surprised by how much I like the smart watch features..... I really bought it for the fitness features.

I love the haptic alerts. I actually leave my phone on silent and use just the haptic alerts on my Band.

Since I got my Band, I pretty much leave my phone on vibrate at work. The Band makes sure that I get the alert and because I can see who is calling or texting, I know whether or not I need to get my phone out to respond.

A feature I would love to see is a "forgot my phone" where the Band would vibrate and display a reminder once you get out of Bluetooth range. Maybe the Band could make your phone ring (and override vibrate setting) if you can't find your phone.
