Can you use the Display Dock as a USB hub?

Hey guys, ordered my free Display Dock but I imagine it'll be a while before it arrives.

As a quick question though, can I use the dock - not connected to a screen - to plug in a USB drive and read it on my phone (which will of course still be wired into the dock)? Essentially, can it act as a (rather large) USB Type C to A adapter?

Yes. I just tried connecting my 950XL to my dock (without connecting it to a display) and I plugged a thumb drive into one of the USB ports. I was able to pull up documents and such that are on the thumb drive.

Keep in mind that the dock needs power to work.
