LaQuinta Inns &Suites epic fail!

This week I am on vacation. We are staying at LaQuinta Perimeter in Atlanta. Of course I brought my Display Dock for the 950XL, a Lenovo stick PC and the HDMI adapter for my Surface Pro 3.

What did I find when I got here? The TV has no HDMI ports. None. Which means of course that none of these devices can be used.

Time to find a better hotel.

Interesting. What ports DOES it have?

Component RGB, S-video and VGA. Both VGA in use by the two controller/whatever boxes are mounted on the back.

You could always get an HDMI-VGA adapter and disconnect one of the boxes there. Of course it shouldn't be necessary since VGA is already very old but sadly still found sometimes.

they need to list on the hotel site, Supports Continuum, as an amenity lol

I agree, next time I will definitely ask whether their tv has hdmi before making the reservation.

you can get a usb-c to VGA hub for $15-$20 and works just fine for continuum.
hopefully the next surface device would use USB-C port for docking, so same dock / adaptor can fit both the phone and tablet.
