Digging the updates, looking good thus far! How you getting on with the 970?
Great!! It is crazy quiet even when in OC mode and a beast when it comes to gaming. I think i'm done building my PC for awhile unless I feel like buying a i7 4790K or get a new MSI motherboard that matches the rest of my red & black build.

Can't go wrong with a red & black MSI build๐Ÿ˜ I love red & black but I am a fan of Asus gaming motherboards and GPU's ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

I'm thinking about getting both of these posters, they both match my room. I too am a fan of Asus but MSI catches my eye a little more. If I were to pick one over the other, MSI will always be my first pick or really MSI over ANY brand ๐Ÿ˜Š Both of these posters are really nice and a great price

Nice posters! I definitely want that Asus one, but the MSI and Windows ones on the website look dope! To bad my PC is a beginner "gaming" PC, lol I'm going to save up and by all the parts as a whole.

What are your current specs and how much are you trying to save up or spend on parts?

I just can't stay away from MSI, I just ordered the MSI SISTORM mousepad. Maybe next time I'll go for the CORSAIR mm800 rgb polaris ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿค‘

You actually have better specs than I did a 1 1/2 - 2 years ago today! I had a GeForce 210 for my GPU, a 80GB WD HDD, a Intel Core 2 Duo, and 2-4GB RAM ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ wait you didn't hear the best part... It had Windows Vista ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I just updated my mouse from "LED Mouse" to a new mouse I won from a bid which is the Lenovo Y GAMING Precision Mouse, I won it for $15 and it cost $32 on Amazon and $49 on Best Buy which are too expensive for a mouse IMO. This mouse has a very nice soft and sturdy feel to it and I can see why it's called Precision. I prefer a MSI mouse but this is way better than my previous one. The only thing I'm missing is a customizable Corsair, Razor, or MSI RGB keyboard.

I already need to clean it, I got something on it but who knows what, lol. I really like it because it pulses red in the middle, which eventually turns off when the mouse hasn't been moved for a while and turns back on as soon as you move the mouse :-). It matches my MSI GTX 970 with the breathing effect turned on.

Thank you๐Ÿ˜ I needed an immediate upgrade from my last one, which I'm pretty sure had a shortage in the wiring so it'll disconnect on its own and something inside the mouse was broke because the left click when highlighting and dragging files wouldn't work properly.

Nice mouse! I actually seen a pair of headphones or a headset with a Mic with that Y design on both sides that cover the ears. It also glows red just like your mouse, you should give it a look :-)

It's been a long time since I last posted here... I did end up getting the Lenovo Y GAMING headset in the previous post and it is great, my sister uses it and is getting ready to make gaming YouTube videos! I got another 180 GB SSD today but I'm not sure if I want to put it in my laptop or PC as a secondary storage device. I also have an extra 250 GB Hard Drive 2.5" form factor and it's on standby on my desk with Mac OS X El Capitan on it. Hmmm what else, I got the mammoth i7 4790K in this build but I still have an i5 4590 in another build and already updated everything on the original first post in this thread (as I normally do). I still want to upgrade my Motherboard to a MSI Red and Black design motherboard, and my keyboard to a Corsair K70 or K95.. I will post pictures of the headset and SSD when I get a chance to, most likely tomorrow.

@TheDarkSide1 I'm going to spam your inbox to have you read the new update :-P. You haven't been on Windows Central in ages.

I have my CPU water cooled, I tossed the stock fan a week after getting the CPU. I may water cool my Graphics Card as well in the mere future.

    UPDATE:

I don't know if this counts as upgrading my PC but I just got a BLUE YETI microphone, It cost me about $115 but it's definitely worth the price. It's not for me personally, it's for my sister, as she recently started her YouTube channel and is making her way up fast :-). Here's a pic of it

    And the box
