I bough one of the $199 DVP 8s online Monday and actually got it yesterday with the free shipping (LA to San Diego, so not that long of a haul.) I already have a Lumia 920, so I'm very happy with the Windows 8 on handhelds, still running 7 on my desktop.

The special mentioned a "free" MS Office Home and Student, but clicking on the MS Office icon launches a "buy", "register" or "try" screen. Is this the way to get it installed? I didn't want to click through without knowing that I'd void anything that might be installed (trap door :) ). What am I missing?

    Thanks

    Mark

Your office key is separate and should be in the box, then you just register it

There should be a registration code for the Microsoft office inside the box. Click the register button and put in the code.

I should have spent more time reading paper in the box than online forums. Thanks for the quick replies.
