With China allowing video game consoles again, this may be an opportunity for MS to gain market share in a huge market.

I was wondering if the console choice for consumers might be affected by the history China has with the console manufacturer's home county.

China and Japan have some very bad history in WWII. While that was a long time ago, I dont know if there is still a negative view held by many Chinese. In many Chinese movies, Japan is the villain.

Is there so much bad blood that the PS4 would have trouble being competitive? Or is that stuff largely looked at as a thing of the past?

And if a statistically significant percentage of the Chinese population would rather avoid a Japanese product when an alternative is available, does that bode well for the XB1?
