Hi (1st post in wpc)

So moving from ios becomes less painful once I find good app replacements, and I still didn't come through any expense tracker apps (probably with support for exporting/importing data?)

Appreciate your feedback folks!

Why use a dedicated app?

I created a dedicated excel spreadsheet for tracking all my expenses and saved it to skydrive so I can access it anywhere. My money has never been in better shape.

Is their any cross platform i.e. Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8? I mean really, that should be a given with all of Microsoft's 'one experience' talk!

Seriously, mint is the best. If of course you live in the US. Mint allows you to add as many accounts as you'd like and syncs automatically once you provide your login info. It has bank level security encryption as well. You can create budgets for specific categories. Mint will categorize all your purchases for you. Plus they have apps for wp8, windows 8, iPhone, and android. Nothing is as good as mint at tracking your expenses.

That's what I basically need, I currently use mobudget. But, in mint, if I add my upcoming car payment, will it calculate it into my balance? & once the payment actually goes through, will it erase my "ghost" upcoming expense & auto link my real expense?

I do not think it auto subracts future bills from current balances but I receive bill reminders
