Facebook messenger duplicate notifications issue.

Hello guys,whenever someone sends me a message from FB messenger,i hear the notification sound once but the notification appear 2 times (sequently)on both action center and as "toast" notification

I reinstalled the app and it seems to have stopped doing it.... for now Before I reinstalled the app I used the messaging features of the Facebook app for a time.

i've same issue, but now affects email notifications

Yep. I had it too after latest update, reinstalled the app and its gone.
