Notifications that won't go away?

I am having this issue with my Lumia 950 XL and also my Lumia 1520 regarding notifications (ex. messages, viber, facebook, etc.) that won't go away. Example would be I have 3 messages received for viber, so I would touch the latest message to open it. however, the other messages on the notification would still be there even if the messages came from the same person (as I would have already read all his/her messages even by just clicking the latest notification message).

Can someone help me how to fix this?

Here's some tips to do so:
Go to Settings
Swipe right for Application Settings and tap Messaging
Scroll and and toggle Facebook Chat off.

For the Facebook App:
Open the app and tap on the navigation pane button.
Scroll down to Settings and tap on it.
Tap on Notifications.
Deselect Message from Notifications.

If it's not too much of a bother, you could just dismiss them by swiping right.
