Why does my screen go black when plugged in for charging?

Windows Central Question

My screen goes black when plugged in for charging

Suppose I'm working a very urgent work on my lap-top & my battery goes low.I plug in to charge my battery to continue my work but on charging screen goes black.How can I continue working on my lap-top during plugged-in like previous versions of windows.
